Mahogany is a warm orange brown decking timber in 140 x 25mm board.  It is fixed down using countersunk stainless steel screws.
This project consists of a total decking area of 42m² that has transformed this south facing area of the garden, linking two outdoor living areas by a connecting boardwalk. 
The boardwalk has been extended to provide access to both sides of a retained garden along with a recess to a provide an intimate seating area.
The outdoor living areas consist of a spa deck with "L" shaped fixed louvre screening in a premium pine frame to provide shelter and segregation from the two decking areas. This type of screening cuts the prevailing sea breeze and at times the southerly winds giving the spa a sheltered aspect most of the time. 
The other outdoor area is a entertaining deck that flows from the living room and was constructed over an existing concrete slab.
The tranformation from cold unusable areas of this property has given the clients three fantastic entertaining areas.
