Retaining Walls

Timber retaining walls can transform your outdoor areas with clever landscape design to create beautiful areas for gardening or building a deck for entertaining.

Generally the timber for retaining walls is rough-sawn tanalised pine timber (150mm x 50mm) that is used in non-visible areas, like under decks or in gardens that are to be planted up to or around the retaining walls.

The other option for retaining walls is tongue and groove dressed pine timber which fit together to give a tidy finish that soil will not seep through. Capping can be added to either retaining timber to give a finished look or to add extra seating to an outdoor entertaining area.

Retaining walls are a great option for outdoor design features from planter boxes or garden areas to retaining your section to optimise usable land area.
